The children in First Class have been learning all about weight in Maths. They enjoyed using weighing scales to compare and measure a variety of classroom objects.
The children made predictions about which items would be heavier or lighter before checking their answers on the scales. They worked together to investigate, compare weights and develop their understanding of mathematical language such as heavy, light, heavier than and lighter than.
It was a fun and hands-on way to learn and the children showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the activities. Well done everyone!
