First Class pupils became junior scientists this week as they took part in a very exciting science activity — creating their very own fruity drinks!
The children brought in a wonderful variety of fresh fruits from home, including strawberries, oranges, lemons, apples, blueberries, and more. They mixed different fruits together and added either still water or sparkling water to invent their own special drinks. Some drinks were sweet and fruity, while others had a fizzy surprise!
The best part of the activity was getting to taste each other’s drinks. Everyone had the chance to sample the different fruity recipes and share their opinions like real food scientists. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and happy reactions throughout the morning. The pupils loved discussing which ingredients worked best.
